How I Store my Face Makeup! DIY Storage

I am such a reuser of things! Most of my makeup and jewelry collections aren't actually stored in things that were originally made for them! Today I'm going to share how I store my face makeup. So here is all my face makeup in the crate box I got from the Dollar Store for college.

I actually don't have that much in my collection anymore because as I was organizing this a few weeks back I threw out all my old makeup that was no good anymore! So to start off in this clear little box, which actually was the box my Ipod nano came in, are the eyeshadow sponges that came with my eyeshadows. Along with my compact travel mirror and my eyeliner pencil sharpener.

Next I have this woven box which I'm almost positive I got as part of a Christmas/Birthday present with the gift inside. In here I keep all my eyeshadows, powders and lip glosses.

Next piece of plastic I have for you is actually the top to an old cd case, ones of those you buy a whole bunch of cds and this is the lid things. In here I keep all my eye pencils and the rest of my lip products! I love reusing things as I said above, and this is the newest piece to be reused and I love it!

I do actually have a few Sephora Lipsticks and Elizabeth Arden Lipsticks, which would seem to be quite a suprise because I am such a drug store beauty girl!

Finally I have all my little misfits that don't fit in my two bigger boxes of makeup that just kind of go around the sides. This includes my makeup brushes and foundations, which need alittle bit a cleaning up. I primarily only use Revlon Foundations but I don't wear foundation on a daily basis anyways.

Hope this helps some of you lovelies out there! I also may be starting a youtube channel soon, still kind of making up my min on doing it or not....

Revlon Review

So Today I went to Walmart to pick up some of my new favorite tea to drink and while I was there I went by the beauty department and picked up something I've been thinking about getting from Revlon but wasn't so sure of.

It's one of the newer Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter sticks in Berry Smoothie. And I've watched and read many many people raving about the Lip Butters and the different colors. The one I've heard the most of about would be the Strawberry Shortcake and thinking about my skin tone I know that colors close to the natural color of my lips are best so I decided to go with Berry Smoothie. Of course at Walmart you can't swatch them so I had no idea how it'd look on me. So when I got home I poured a glass of ice tea and opened up the Lip Butter and put it on. At first it took a few wipes on my bottom lip before it started to go on then it went on nice and smooth! However once I was content with the amount I went to rub my lips together and got the weirdest sensation in my lips like there were little bumps all over. Now I hadn't been eating and there hadn't been anything on my lips before the Lip Butter so it had to be the Lip Butter! But I'm not going to just throw it away, it's pretty, maybe after all not the best color for me but I'll give it a few more tries and post how I feel about it once again in a few weeks!

Hello Beauty World.

Today I'm taking my first steps to the beauty world. I hope everyone including yourself will receive me warmly. I'm not your typical beauty guru girl, who has a wonder body shape, pimples only once in awhile and enough money to buy complete Nars collections. But I have learned somethings by doing them myself and therefore I'm going to share them with you. :)

I can't wait to get started in sharing the little things I've learned over the years I've spent trying to find makeup and a style that works with me. So if you are like me in not being the prefect size 4 or 6 or -2 then I hope you find my advice helpful and please feel free to comment on my posts with things you've learned as well.

I'm not here trying to look down upon girls who are skinny/healthy weight limit, but from the blogs I've read in the past to the beauty guru's on YouTube I find it hard to take their advice on clothes when it was meant for them, and defiantly not me. Soon I hope to be up and posting about beauty and makeup that I find works great for my style and my budget.

Thanks for reading!
